Le Petit Dakar 2019 is a journey that wants to recover the spirit of the old African Dakar, following in part the pistes used in the nineties by the south of Morocco, in the old Spanish Sahara. The tour will start in El Aaiún and will pass through Smara, Bir Enzaren, Ausserd, Dakhla, Bojador and will finish back to El Aaiún.
Six stages of pure adventure by tracks and off the pistes, between camp and camp, in an environment that until now you have only seen on television.
It is not a race. There is no prize but a trophy for all: the satisfaction of having done it.
The 2019 edition of Le Petit Dakar returns to its origins in the Sahara. As in the real African Dakars we will find stone, fast tracks, other more technical and some sandy step where we will have to improvise. Also, history. We will visit emblematic places of the Spanish presence in the Sahara, spectacular cave paintings or the still visible remains of the Moroccan war with the Polisario Front
A complete tour that will satisfy your desires of off road wrapped by a solvent and knowledgeable of the region organization. You only have to worry about enjoying.
During the development of each stage, the vehicles of the organization are communicated by radio and externally via satellite telephone.
The routes are not very demanding technically but it is necessary a mid-level experience in off road driving, be in good shape to withstand the stages in conditions and take the bike to the point (important to attend with new tires).
