Stage 1 Reception, pick-up of motorbikes and accommodation at Tryp Alameda Hotel Malaga.
Stage 2 (Malaga to Tetuan) We´ll go to Algeciras to embark to Ceuta or Tangier MED. Border crossing and Customs. Night in Tetuan, Hotel El Yacouta. On the way to the hotel, we will stop for dinner at Mdiq. Fish restaurant. Accommodation at the hotel. Guarded parking for vehicles.
Stage 3 (From Tetouan to Fes) Departure from Tetouan from the same junction of the Chaouen or Chefchaouen road, as it is called in Morocco. The roads are quite busy all over the country Djebala and the buttresses of the Rif. It is an area with a lot of goods traffic, many markets and agricultural production. We will pass by the old roads of the Spanish protectorate, a small detour to Xaouen, the old border between the French and Spanish Protectorates on the bridge of the River Loukos and we will spend the night in Fez. We will organize a walk in the medina at dusk. It is the biggest in North Africa and it does not stop surprising, no matter how much you have walked by it. Hotel Zalag Parc Palace.
Stage 4 (From Fes to Merzouga) We leave Fez to enter the Atlas. Down the P21, passing Ifrane, known as the little switzerland. We enter lonely roads, high plains and remote villages and away from the Middle Atlas. The landscapes with cedar forests are spectacular and we will meet with the berber monkeys, who leave the forest to look for food from the tourists. After crossing the High Atlas we will arrive by the valley of the river Ziz to sleep to a “khaima” on the backs of a camel in the dunes of Erg Chebbi.
Stage 5 (From Merzouga to Tinejdad) After breakfast, free morning with several options such as rent a quad or ca-mello to stroll the dunes or those who prefer to submerge in a different world, you can approach Rissani and stroll through its market and then Erfoud. Early in the afternoon, departure in the direction of Tinejdad and overnight in El Khorbat. Overnight in the berebere village of El Khorbat, where a sustainable and in-cantante hotel has been created within the Kasbah. Dinner and overnight at the El Khorbat hotel.
Stage 6 (From Erg Chebbi to Boumalne Dades) After breakfast, raid to the impressive gorges of Amellago and lonely high mountain roads that go into remote villages, until recently isolated because only hard mountain tracks such as Ait Hani. Later it descends by the South slope of the Atlas towards the gorges of the Todra. You can not tell, you have to see it! We recommend to eat in the villages down or in the gorges, although the hostels are “more touristy” you will find menus. Night in half board in Kasbah Xaluca Boumalne du Dades.
Stage 7 (From Boumalne Dades to Zagora) After breakfast, exit in the direction of the famous Dades Gorges and follow Tazzarine where we will visit a local market full of life. Through a paved desert track in 2017 we arrive in Zagora where we will stay at the Palais Asmaa hotel
Stage 8 (From Zagora to Marrakech) After breakfast we will cross the road that follows the Oued Draa, forming the largest palm grove of North Africa and we will take direction to Ouarzazate. On the way out of the city, one passes in front of the cinema studios where many great productions are filmed. We will turn aside to contemplate the greatest and most beautiful kasbah of Morocco: Ait Benhaddou. From here you reach the summit of Tizi n’Tichka, a spectacular mountain port, to get off to Marrakech. Arriving at the hotel La Maison des Oliviers, we will travel by taxi to the medina and finally, dinner in the square of the Jemaa Fnaa.
Stage 9 (From Marrakech to Tangier) Link by motorway to Tangier where we will visit the ancient medina of this cosmopolitan city that combines tradition and modernity. Overnight at hotel Kenzi Solazur Tanger.
Stage 10 (From Tangier to Malaga) Breakfast and departure for a “special” itinerary. It is a matter of bordering the northern end of the African continent until it reaches the seaport. Crossing of the Strait of Gibraltar, return of the bikes in Malaga and farewell dinner at the Tryp Alameda Hotel in Malaga.
